20 VALUABLE SKILLS TO
CULTIVATE IN LIFE
1. “Stay away from negative people,” warned Einstein, “they have a
problem for every solution instead of a solution to every problem.”
2. The fish would’ve never got caught if he kept his mouth shut!
After all, Nature gave you 2 ears and 1 mouth for
a reason—listen two times as much as you talk.
3. Because “common sense isn’t common,” common sense will
alone take you further than any other trait.
4. In a world where the blind follows the blind, whoever dares open
his eyes and follows his own path will naturally become a leader.
5. The moment you accept the fact that everything worthwhile is
challenging, you’ll already be ahead of the pack.
6. Because adults are nothing but children with responsibilities,

After all, none of us asked to come here and none of choose when to exit stage
left!

option.”
13. A sunny attitude has been known to brighten many a cloudy day.
And so, be an optimist not a pessimist..
14. People don’t “like you” specifically, but rather they “like” how
they feel when they’re in your company. And so, master the skill of
knowing how to make people feel good.
15. If you exercise just 30 minutes a day, you’ll literally increase
your life span.
16. It’s impossible to shame a person who is indifferent to the
world’s opinions. Learn to become indifferent to the “good” opinions of others,
then.
17. Ignore the years and they will in turn ignore you! No wonder the
word ignorant derives from ignore!
18. Since every road has hills, learn to be persistent.
19. Throughout the day remind yourself to laugh and smile. And in so
doing, you’ll naturally trigger the release of dopamine and serotonin.
20. Most of all, master the following skill: You might as well be
yourself because everyone else is already taken!
