15 LIFE’S DARK LESSONS & TRUTHS

1.       Men tend to think that they love sex but women love it as much as men and they can be way dirtier!! A woman who loves sex and is not afraid to show it to her partner can be very hard to satisfy.
2.      Losers tend to flock in groups; successful people are usually lonely and have very few, select friends.
3.      Gym-enthusiasts and the whole gym-culture is a way to hide self-esteem issues and to compensate for the lack of something else.
4.      Religion is good as an ethical reference but it should be taken with a degree of criticism and reality. A person who adhered fully to the commandments of any religion is usually very dangerous.
5.      Social networks are a macabre instrument of narcissism and mass surveillance and control.
6.      Sometimes your worst enemies are within your family and people you call friends. They are the ones who can do you harm while trying to convince you that in reality they are doing you a favour.
7.       There are many turns in life: you may be successful today and a complete failure tomorrow; you may be a failure today and a success tomorrow. Outcome of success depends a lot on circumstances. Don’t forget that they often change. Just never give up and fight for what you want.
8.      Marriage is nothing but a contract underpinned in materialistic interests.
9.      That you were born alone and you will die alone. Try living a meaningful life as much as possible. Have goals and work on them daily if you can.
10.  You won't be young forever. Clearly your biological clock is ticking every day. You get those small reminders of your mortality.
11.    You may have over 10 people who you consider as friends but only 1 or 2 will be there for you during your hard times. Be even thankful if you have 1.
12.   That you are not that important no matter whom you are. Everyone has their personal life and is engrossed in their own problems. Don't think too much what people will say because in the first place they are not thinking about you.
13.   What is in your mind is an exact reflection of what is happening in your life. You wonder why you keep making the same mistake over and over again or why you keep failing at something you are good at. What you need to do is go through your beliefs and self talk and eliminate those thoughts that are not working for you. You do this by replacing old thoughts with new ones. I call it displacement
14.   That you will have depressive periods in your life. Not everything will work out exactly as you want. Rule of thumb is don't be too attached to the outcome of every event.
15.   That money is important. Most couples break up because of money issues where one wants to spend and the other is not working or not earning enough. Make sure you learn new skills that will help you make enough for how you want to live. I would advise you to start saving early in life to be able to have enough for the future.
