19 THINGS YOU WISH YOU KNEW EARLIER

 1.       You will fall in love many times throughout your life. Don’t worry or rush things.
2.      Sexual attraction is key to start a healthy relationship. Don’t be ashamed of your preferences.
3.      Parents give advice from their perspective, which is one generation older than yours. Keep that in mind when choosing a career.
4.      Being an adult doesn’t mean you have you are responsible, neither having a job, being married and having kids. I’ve seen peers in their 20s starting families and being clueless and totally irresponsible.
5.      I am afraid to say so, but money and status change the way people perceive and treat you. It is far more important than school teachers used to say.
6.      Colleagues, who seem overly confident and know it all, are usually the ones that don’t progress and there over don’t know it all. Unfortunately confidence always matters more than knowledge itself (or maybe, fortunately).
7.       People will feel it if you don’t love or respect yourself, and will act accordingly.
8.      If you have high emotional intelligence and you know it, trust your intuition about other people.
9.      Fake it till you make it! It works.
10.  Attitude matters much more than intelligence/knowledge.
11.    In order to not be afraid of people, look them directly in the eyes and speak with a calm voice. It shows confidence and will make you relax too.
12.   Love is about accepting your partner with every flaw - is the Biggest lie from hell’s pit. People hate flaws. And so would you.
13.   Be nice to people and they’ll be nice to you is a myth. People will use you, throw you in a gutter and move on. They are there with you because you are easy to get money out from.
14.   Nobility and feeling safe has no relation with old age. Elder people also hit and try to have a go.
15.   Only a woman can understand other woman’s pain - An overrated statement.
16.   We are jealous creatures. Mind you, even if we are happy for our friends, there is somewhere hidden jealousy or let’s say “why not me?” simmering in there.
17.    It is impossible to please everyone. There will ALWAYS be someone who disagrees with you, and frankly, you’re not living life if you don’t have enemies. Better be someone with your own thoughts and opinions than a people pleaser.
18.   It doesn’t matter how good your grades are, because grades aren’t everything and people pay more attention to your social skills. Grades only take you halfway.
19.   Never tell people 100%, tell them 70% about yourself, and 30% should be hidden
